Sarco 1897 heat shield and bayonet lug. Trench gun!!!! I am pretty sure the heatshield makes the take down feature unavailable unless you remove the shield. I also would need to drill the endcap, or drill and tap. I think the shield aligns or attaches to a hole in the end cap. If you can't do this, you need the correct endcap..
